All Sexual Offences are serious crimes and we are here to help if you, or anyone you know who has been a victim of a sexual offence.
From Monday 25 March 2024 the new ‘Sexual Offences and Obscene Publications Act 2021’ comes into force. This provides the Isle of Man Constabulary with numerous additional offences and powers that will assist in investigating and prosecuting offenders of sexual offences. (If a reported offence occurred prior to this date, offences under The Sexual Offences Act 1992 legislation will be investigated.)
We have a dedicated team of specially trained officers who provide complainants with the support and care they need and assist the complainant throughout the process.
